Rustam Minnikhanov arrives in Ankara to take part in inauguration of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan

On August 28, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Ankara with the official Russian delegation led by Chairman of State Duma of the Federal Assembly Sergey Naryshkin to take part in inauguration of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Rustam Minnikhanov was met by Governor of Ankara province Hayrettin Balcioglu at Ankara international airport.

The inauguration ceremony of the 12th President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be held on August 28, 2014. Delegations from 93 countries are expected to take part in the event. Direct presidential elections were held for the first time in the history of Turkey on August 10, 2014. Recep Tayyip Erdogan won the elections with 52 per cent of votes.
