Tatarstan is interested in Turkish experience in creating special economic zones

On December 1, during his visit to Sican organized industrial zone and meeting with Chairman of Ankara Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nurettin Özdemir, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Turkey has got one of the most successful experiences in creating special economic zones in the world. 

“We know that Tatarstan is one of the most developed regions in Russia known for its mineral resources and advanced technologies. You have many high-tech industrial enterprises in the republic, and I think we can implement joint projects in this area,” Nurettin Özdemir said welcoming Rustam Minnikhanov.

Minnikhanov supported the idea of developing cooperation with Ankara. “Russian market has large potential, and Turkish companies can enter the market via Tatarstan. Our chambers of commerce and industry should work intensively and organize mutual business visits. 

During the meeting with the Tatarstan delegation and members of Ankara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nurettin Özdemir welcomed the delegation and personally Rustam Minnikhanov. He told that members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry consider education, training and professional development of specialists to be very important for economic development.
