Rustam Minnikhanov finds out about development of wellness tourism in Pamukkale

On May 17, during his working trip to Turkey, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov found out about development of wellness tourism and protection of historical monuments in Pamukkale.

Pamukkale is a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey. The city contains hot springs and travertines. People from all over the world come here for treatment. 

Minnikhanov was told that Pamukkale is the most visited site in Turkey. The following sights are located in Pamukkale, - Hierapolis, Ruins of the Temple of Apollo, Laodicea, etc. 

Minnikhanov visited the historical monuments and noted high level of its preservation. He also told about large-scale work on reconstruction of Bolgar and Sviyazhsk, Orthodox and Muslim historical sites located in Tatarstan.

Minnikhanov also visited Cleopatra's Antique Pool that is very popular among tourists.
