Rustam Minnikhanov meets Board Chairman of Zorlu Holding Ahmet Zorlu

On December 8, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Board Chairman of Zorlu Holding Ahmet Zorlu discussed creation of textile cluster based on polymer components using potential of the Republic of Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov noted that raw material resources of the republic should be used in this prospective this area. 

By the order of Tatarstan President, a working group will be created for studying possible variants to develop this area. The Republic of Tatarstan will be represented by employees of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”. 

Participants of the meeting also discussed projects in the sphere of creating generating capacities in Tatarstan. Minnikhanov noted that there is electrical shortage in the republic at the moment, especially near Regional clinical hospital and Special Economic Zone “Alabuga”. 

Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Chief executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Director General of OAO “Grid company” Ilshat Fardiev, Director General of OAO “Generation company” Rauzil Khaziev, and representatives of KER-holding took part in the meeting.
